The work
EnerSys appointed EasyMediaUK through an existing relationship with a member of its team. What began as regional creative and digital support developed into a multi-year partnership serving markets across Europe and Asia.
One global brand across distinct regional campaigns
The EMEA team needed to work within an established American brand system while creating campaigns relevant to different European and Asian markets. EasyMediaUK developed regional creative without weakening the central identity, supporting publications, datasheets, social artwork and exhibition graphics across a varied programme of activity.
A seven-language European website
We built the European Odyssey Battery website at eu.odysseybattery.com, supporting seven languages across Europe and Asia. The project combined regional content with the standards of the US brand and brought product information into a more secure, maintainable platform that was easier for the team to update.
Multilingual delivery was one of the central technical challenges. Content, navigation and campaign material had to remain consistent across translations while allowing EMEA teams to communicate priorities that differed from those of the American market.
Turning technical performance into a sales conversation
EasyMediaUK also created an exhibition application that helped representatives explain the commercial case for Thin Plate Pure Lead battery technology. A representative could enter a prospect’s fleet size and ownership period, then compare the projected total saving against a leading conventional alternative.
The application was designed for the realities of an exhibition floor. Interested prospects could leave their contact details for follow-up, giving the sales team a practical bridge between a technical product demonstration and a qualified conversation after the event.
International exhibition support
The wider creative programme supported exhibitions in Singapore, Palma de Mallorca and at Birmingham’s NEC. Working across web, campaign, exhibition and application delivery allowed product messages to remain recognisable while being adapted to different formats, audiences and locations.
A relationship that continued through recommendation
The regional relationship ended on good terms when European and Asian marketing activity was brought under head-office control and local supplier arrangements were consolidated. EnerSys subsequently recommended EasyMediaUK to customers of its own; some of those introductions became client relationships that continue today.
Across the engagement, stronger security, simpler updating and joined-up campaign delivery helped the regional team generate more leads while maintaining the standards of a global organisation.
