The work
MJS Training came to EasyMediaUK before launch with a new Driver CPC training concept. Rather than adapting an established operation, the initial challenge was to create the public website and the first version of a system around the learner journey from the beginning.
Building the operation in phases
The first phase connected the website to a focused internal platform. As the business developed, the system grew to serve learners, employers, trainers and administrators, bringing enquiries, bookings, payments and course delivery into a shared workflow.
Integrations covered online payment, SMS, email, video conferencing and API communication with the accreditation provider. The platform followed each learner from initial enquiry through booking and payment to attendance, authentication, evidence and identification.
A rapid response when classroom training stopped
When COVID-19 restrictions interrupted classroom delivery, MJS needed an entirely new remote-training process on a tight timescale. EasyMediaUK designed a digital workflow that did more than place a video call around the existing course. It addressed the identity, attendance and evidence requirements needed for compliant Driver CPC delivery.
The proposed process received the regulatory approval required for MJS to continue delivering training online. Its security and evidence model also gave the business a sufficiently robust foundation to retain online delivery after general restrictions ended.
Automation across a high-frequency course schedule
For years, the operation regularly delivered two courses per day, six days per week, with approximately 20 learners on a course. Automation reduced telephone time and waiting, removed repeated administrative steps and made it easier for customers to move from interest to a confirmed place.
The effect was not limited to back-office efficiency. Faster booking and communication supported increased course uptake while giving staff clearer oversight of learners at every stage.
A platform that supported expansion
MJS developed into a blended training business delivering both online and training-centre courses, and later opened a second centre. The website and operational software evolved through several phases alongside that growth rather than forcing the business into the constraints of its first release.
The result is a long-running platform that connects customer experience, regulatory evidence and everyday administration—demonstrating how a focused first system can become part of the operating model as a business grows.
